The Autism Project

Practical Solutions

Helping individuals with Autism thrive.

About The Autism Project.

The Autism Project strives to provide practical solutions for families with children on the Autism Spectrum as well as for professionals and organisations working with autistic learners.

The Autism Project team believes that every child deserves to achieve their potential, whatever that may be.  To help ensure that happens, our team looks at every single child individually.  We know that the key to progress is in tailoring not only what programmes we create, but also in how we deliver that programme.  For this reason (and because research has proven combination approaches to teaching and supporting children on the Spectrum to be the most effective) The Autism Project implements an eclectic blend of world’s best practice in Autism Specific Interventions.

    Intervention

Every child receives his/her own unique blend of interventions, strategies and methods best suited to him/her.

More than anything else, consistency is the most important component in autism intervention.  We work closely with all members of each child's team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, teachers and most importantly, the parents to ensure consistency across the team. We know that the parents are the experts on their own children and the parent is always considered to be the leader of the team.
